Coach Daniel

Background

I grew up in Scotland where like most, the people from there played and supported football. This shaped me into becoming an extremely staunch individual where everything I do is carried out with pride. These both meant that sport coaching was a no brainer in terms of the career path I would follow. My expertise lay in the sport of football where I have played at a semi-professional level since the age of seventeen. Although excelling in this sport I have never allowed myself to be restricted to just the one where others such as badminton, golf and darts are ones I also hold a competent level in.

Coaching Style

Firstly, it’s important that no matter who you are coaching regardless of their age or ability they have to be having fun. I normally achieve this by creating a safe place for children to express themselves. I focus heavily on maximum participation where I aim to make sure every child who participates in my sessions is staying actively involved with myself and their peers.
