Minisport welcomes children from as young as 1.5 years old up to 6 years (with some programs extending to 8 years). Sessions are grouped by developmental stage — Playgroup (1.5–2.5yrs), Mini-Tots (2.5–3.5yrs), and Explorers (4–6yrs) — so your child is always in an age-appropriate environment.
The program rotates across six sports: football, basketball, tennis, rugby, hockey, and athletics. Rather than specialising early, children are exposed to all six disciplines, building well-rounded coordination and confidence across different sports.
Absolutely. Minisport is specifically designed as a first introduction to sport. Coaches focus on fundamental movement and ball skills — throwing, catching, dribbling, striking — in a fun, low-pressure setting. No prior experience is needed at any level.
Each weekly class runs for 50 minutes. Minisport operates across multiple venues throughout Hong Kong, including the Minisport Hub on Caine Road, Repulse Bay Beach, Kai Tak Station Plaza, Victoria Park, and Tseung Kwan O, among others.
Yes. Minisport offers trial classes so you and your child can experience the program before enrolling for a full term. You can sign up for a trial directly through the website.
Minisport runs holiday camps at multiple locations during school breaks. Camps are packed with multi-sport activities and can be booked as daily drop-ins or on a week-by-week basis, with discounts available for longer bookings.
Parents receive monthly progress reports through the Minisport app, summarising their child's participation and interest levels across the different sports coached each term.
