Term 1 Updates
Term 1 Is Now Closed
We've reached full capacity for Term 1 and are no longer accepting new enrolments. Our focus is now on delivering the best possible experience for our current students across all 20+ venues. We've loved hearing stories from satisfied parents and are proud of our coaches for the energy and professionalism they bring to every session.

Character Badges Are a Hit!
Parents and coaches are loving our new Character Badges system! Remember to claim your child's badges within 24 hours of each class to see which amazing traits they demonstrated – whether it's teamwork, leadership, bravery, or creativity. Coaches love recognising these special moments, and parents are thrilled to celebrate their child's character development!
Loyalty Points System Live!
Our families are already benefiting from earning up to 200 points per class through attendance (100 points), pre-class check-in (50 points), and post-class reviews (50 points). Parents are loving the exclusive rewards and tier benefits – keep collecting those points to unlock even more perks!
Winter Camp Early Bird Success
Early bird registration for Winter Camp ran through November 24th, featuring our new tiered discount system based on app user levels (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum). This rewarded our most loyal families with the best savings.
Eco-Friendly Uniforms Now Compulsory
All Term 1 students have received their new sustainable Minisport uniforms! These are now compulsory at all classes, helping us build team spirit whilst reducing our environmental impact. Thank you for supporting our commitment to a greener future.
What's Coming in December
Winter Camp Final Spots Filling Fast!
Our December Winter Camps are nearly full! Morning and afternoon sessions are available across multiple venues, offering your child the chance to stay active, make new friends, and continue developing their sports skills during the holidays. Don't miss out — book now before spots are gone!
Our Christmas @ The Hub will feature a special visit from Santa and Christmas-themed games for all the kids. In the wake of the heartbreaking fires in Tai Po, we will be donating all proceeds from our upcoming event to Crossroads Foundation, standing together as a community to support our neighbours during this difficult time.
Our team will come together for a series of events to close out 2025 and prepare for the year ahead. On December 4th, we'll enjoy a Yoga session, followed by a workshop on December 11th titled "Shaping 2026" with renowned author and culture specialist Veronica Llorica Smith. We'll then celebrate with a holiday lunch to see the year off together.
The goal of next week's workshop is to clarify the values, behaviours, and purpose of the company for the year ahead, ensuring we're best positioned to serve our community and everyone involved with Minisport. We're committed to building a strong, connected team culture that supports every coach and staff member.
Upgraded Coach Training Programme
We're revamping our in-house coach training with a new three-module course designed to elevate the quality and consistency of our coaching. Module 1 will be ready by mid-December, and all coaches will complete this upgraded refresher by the end of the year.
The programme covers early childhood psychology, communication and leadership, course delivery, health and safety, and much more. This investment ensures our team continues to deliver the exceptional experience Minisport families expect.
Important Policy Update – January 2026
New Make-Up Token Policy
Starting January 5th, 2026, our credit system will transition to a token-based system. Existing credits will automatically convert to tokens (rounded up in your favour) with a 90-day validity period. New tokens issued from January 6th onwards will have a 28-day validity. This change helps us manage scheduling more efficiently whilst ensuring fairness for all families.

Our Founder and CEO, Matt, welcomed his newborn son Aran to the world on November 7th – a future Minisport star in the making! 🎉
Restructuring for Growth
As we head into 2026, we're restructuring the company to improve efficiency and better support our expansion goals. This process will create new opportunities for internal team members to step into fresh roles and take on greater responsibilities in the coming year. We're excited about strengthening our operations and investing in the talent within our team.
Farewell to Luke
After 4½ incredible years with Minisport, Luke has moved on to new adventures. We're grateful for his dedication and wish him all the best in his next chapter.

Little People of Hong Kong Outing
Our partnership with Little People of Hong Kong in November was an inspiring and rewarding experience. Families shared how this was a wonderful chance for their child to join sports and games, and the afternoon at Moskiddo in Wong Chuk Hang gave children of all abilities a sense of belonging and fun.
Ocean Week Beach Parties
Our Ocean Week beach parties were a great success! Families enjoyed fun games and activities down at the beach, celebrating our love for the outdoors and active play.

Our brand-new Minisport Hub is officially open, offering summer camps, weekend drop-ins, and Term 1 classes in a fun, safe, and modern environment. We’re also excited to share we have introduced cricket to term 1, refreshed our coaches’ first aid skills, and enjoyed a team day out.
